Our charity, based in Burghead, offers personal, practical and emotional support to people who are dying – along with those close to them.

We can provide information, a listening ear, equipment and access to holistic therapists. We can help with care, paperwork, errands, Power of Attorney and getting affairs in order. We aim to ease the stresses when someone is dying.

Nowadays many of our loved ones end their lives falling through the cracks in our caring services - the time has come for change.

From our experience, we know there are ways to complement existing health and social care services which can ease difficulties commonly arising when someone is ill or dying. We want to work towards making these ways available to everyone.

At the moment we can offer help with PLANNING, SUPPORT and COMFORT CARE in people's homes. We also offer practical help with short term loan of EQUIPMENT. We have a long term VISION to create a place at Burghead harbour with purpose-built rooms and a holistic resource centre for everyone affected by death, dying and bereavement.

We are currently working to get permission and funding to put a temporary office on land at the harbour.

We will be adding more information to this website as the work develops. In the meantime, please do contact us if we can help you, if you know ways to help us or are interested to find out more.

We have no religious connection. Our work is based on a belief that human beings have a spiritual element in our nature which it is important to nourish, especially as we are dying. Our beliefs are not imposed on those who seek our help. We are always willing to help those with any or no religious/ spiritual belief. We are here for everyone.
